Version LS-101B/LS-101B-AG is a double acting, balanced pre-assembled cartridge unit recommended for sealing media vapours. It is a pre-assembled cartridge unit used for sealing media vapours at higher pressure. The design
feature of this arrangement incorporates integrated bearing to take care of shaft run-outs at the seal point. Jacketed arrangement provided in this seal design ensures that seal area remains cool during its normal operations. Circulation of the compatible barrier fluid at 2kg/cm2 higher pressure than the pressure of the media vapours to be sealed is recommended for proper lubrication to the seal faces.
