Version LS-900-DRS is a single acting, multiple springs, outside mounted reverse balanced dry running seal independent on direction of rotation commonly used in case of top entry agitators for food and pharmaceutical industries where contamination of the media inside the agitator with any other liquid is not permissible. This particular sealing arrangement do not required any external lubrication to the seal faces. The combination of metal impregnated carbon v/s. silicon carbide wear faces is recommended for dry running applications.
